Clayton Slaugenwhite is a Facility Condition Assessment Specialist with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI). His responsibilities include conducting facility condition assessments with an emphasis on the building envelope, structural systems, and accessibility components. Prior to joining PSFEI, Slaugenwhite was employed by the Larson Design Group (LDG) for five years, where he acted as both a document (CD) lead and survey lead in the retail architecture group. As a CD lead, he oversaw the production of full sets of construction documents from start to finish, including permits. As a survey lead, he frequently surveyed projects on-site across the country. He regularly trained coworkers and created templates for not only his own team, but other teams within LDG to use for their daily CD tasks. He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology from the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
