Thomas Folino is a Facility Condition Assessment Specialist with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI). His responsibilities include conducting facility condition assessments with an emphasis on the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of buildings and structures. He has more than twenty years of experience in the maintenance and manufacturing fields working in a wide variety of facilities and trades.

Prior to joining PSFEI, Folino served as the Director of Buildings and Grounds at the Bald Eagle Area School District where he supervised all construction, facility usage, and maintenance activities. He is an experienced educator and trained technicians in the Emerging Energy and Infrastructure Lab at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology. He is a decorated veteran having served four years active duty in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed his service at the rank of sergeant. He holds degrees in Automated Manufacturing and Welding Technology from the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
