Matthew McCallion earns internship for Spring 2018

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI) welcomes Matthew McCallion, who joins the Institute as an intern.

McCallion is working with the team to conduct facilities and environmental assessments for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). His responsibilities include inspecting the conditions of various aspects of PennDOT facilities, such as building envelope, electrical systems, environmental conditions, and structural components. He reports to Carey Ohl, mechanical engineer for PSFEI. McCallion is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Penn State.

The organization aims to advance its customers’ facilities engineering objectives through applied research, education and innovation.
