Bryan Edwards, P.E., LEED AP, CxA

Bryan Edwards is a Building Systems Engineer with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFE). His responsibilities include facility condition assessments of building systems including mechanical, electrical and plumbing, providing technical insight on building system operations and guidance assistance with project development and reviewing building construction documents for regulatory and agency compliance. Prior to joining PSFEI in 2018, Edwards held various roles in design, permitting, and service and installation of multiple types of equipment including Gannett Fleming, Inc., where he served as the commissioning authority to develop documents and tests to evaluate building systems for new construction projects and building system upgrades. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from Penn State. He also holds an Associate in Applied Science in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration from Harrisburg Area Community College. He is a licensed professional mechanical engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a certified energy auditor with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Edwards is certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction, a sustainability credential with the U.S. Green Building Council.
