Brice Ohl, P.E.

Brice Ohl is a mechanical systems engineer with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI). Ohl provides engineering support for various mechanical systems to our clients across the Commonwealth. His responsibilities include reviewing mechanical process flow diagrams with associated controls sequence of operations and system design documents, troubleshooting mechanical systems, advising agencies on system improvements, assisting project scope development, and providing oversight of adjusting and balancing HVAC systems. Prior to joining PSFEI in 2019 as a facility condition assessment specialist, Ohl was employed by JDBE Engineering in York, Pennsylvania. His experience includes process systems design of McCormick Spice Mill, Starbucks York Roasting Plant, and Warrell Corporation and HVAC systems design and renovations in the healthcare setting for Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center at Ft. Meade. Ohl holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
