Sean Rasmussen

One of the two principals of Blue Sky Consulting Services, Sean Rasmussen has been working in the field of building science and performance for 21 years; performing, overseeing, and managing Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning, and Testing Adjusting Balancing projects all over the United States. Rasmussen has been a contracted training provider for PSFEI since 2017.

He is an NEBB certified professional in building systems commissioning, air and hydronic testing adjusting balancing, air barrier testing, and several other sub-disciplines. He is also a LEED accredited professional. When not training for PSFEI, Rasmussen may be found collaborating with design professionals on complex design schemes and working with contractors in the field to make those strategies function in his customers’ buildings. Rasmussen strives to carry his building knowledge and experience forward into the training and instruction he provides. He is always interested to learn about a new building control strategy or concept, or “geeking-out” about a puzzling building issue. Away from work, Rasmussen spends his time rock climbing, snowboarding, and mountain biking with his family in Boise, Idaho.
