Eric Cox is an Electrical Field Engineer with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI). His responsibilities include electrical engineering studies, troubleshooting, and performing electrical preventative maintenance and testing services. His areas of expertise include electrical distribution systems, renewable energy systems, and battery energy storage systems. Prior to PSFEI, Cox served as a photovoltaic systems crew lead and off-grid specialist with Envinity Inc. He also served eight years as an infantryman in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Cox has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Renewable Energy Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
