Kevin Lynch is a Facilities Control Engineer with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI). With more than 12 years of industry experience, Lynch’s responsibilities include administration of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commissions’ (PHMC) WebCTRL system, on-site technical assistance for environmental monitoring of HVAC systems, and assistance with energy management and conservation for Commonwealth of PA agencies. Prior to joining PSFEI, Lynch worked in the smart buildings industry for KTERIO where he was responsible for design, development, implementation, and evaluation of projects to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs associated with building operations. Lynch was previously employed by Penn State's Office of the Physical Plant for over 7 years in the Facility Automation Services department. He brings a wide range of knowledge of both HVAC and building automation systems and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Automation Technology and an Associate of Applied Science degree in HVAC/R from the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
