Kacie Rudy is a Facility Condition Assessment Specialist with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI). Her responsibilities include conducting facility condition assessments with an emphasis on the building envelope, structural systems, and accessibility components. Rudy brings five years of experience in construction design, management, and building inspections to PSFEI and has an in-depth knowledge of building code compliance. Before joining PSFEI, she was a residential construction designer, estimator, and project manager for LandServ Inc. As a construction project manager, Rudy developed code compliant construction documents with design and engineering professionals to seamlessly blend all residential constructions to existing structures. Rudy designed and built her own house and has since leveraged that experience for all of her construction projects in Centre County. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from Penn State and holds an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
