Shane Moison is an Electrical Field Engineer with the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI), where he provides engineering support for electrical systems to clients throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His work focuses on electrical system studies, troubleshooting, project management, and delivering technical recommendations tailored to client needs. Before joining PSFEI, Moison served as a Research and Development Engineer at Penn State’s Applied Research Laboratory. He is also a retired U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer with nuclear training, bringing 24 years of active-duty service and leadership experience to his role. Moison holds a Master of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State. He is certified as an Engineer-in-Training in Pennsylvania.
